My newest toy!
No, this toy is not an iPod, iPhone, X-BOX, PlayStation3, Wii, laptop, or anything to do with computers and games at all! My newest toy is the Trek 7.5 FX Fitness Hybrid bike. A fitness hybrid bike has the wheels and speed of a road bike, but the flat handle bars of a mountain bike. It is slightly slower than a road bike, but faster compared to the mountain and hybrid comfort bikes.

Where have I been?!?!
My apologies for the lack of posts and sharing of articles. I haven’t been feeling the greatest the past 4-5 days. The only way I can describe this is that I’ve been really tired when I have returned home from work. I feel alot better tonite and tomorrow I’ll be returning to the gym.

Apple fails at bluetooth support
I don’t understand apple. They have intentionally left certain bluetooth features disabled in the iPhone namely voice dialing from the headset. This absolutely ridiculous and is on par with verizon leaving wireless off the blackberry storm. More to come in my review.

Busy Busy Busy
I just wanted to write a quick update on the last two weeks or so. So far, I have survived the first 2 weeks of my job. It is quite interesting. I am enjoying being in corporate america for once. Things are alot slower paced. Sometimes that is a good thing and other times I wish the pace would pick up.

As I sit here in my home enjoying a few last beers until June, I thought it would be good to announce that on Monday, January 19th, I will start training for my second marathon. I have decided to enter the race known as Grandma’s. This is a race in Duluth, Minnesota on June 20th.

Major Announcement 1
Today, I announced my departure from my current employer, a large accounting/consulting firm. Included with this posting you will find the text of my farewell email. I’m really excited to be starting with my new employer, but will also miss the people I’ve worked with for the past 4+ years. Warming up for 2009 training season....
I must admit getting back into the swing of training for races has been more difficult than past years. I left the country on a much needed overseas adventure to India (I plan on writing about this in an upcoming post) for 20 days, 3 of which were spent in New York City recovering from jet lag and catching up with friends.
